Dear Church Family,
It is with sadness we inform you that our interim pianist, Ms. Kathy Clark, turned in her resignation on January 9, 2019. Kathy’s last Sunday morning service with us as pianist will be February 3, 2019.
We have enjoyed so much having Kathy back with us, especially using her gifts as pianist. She is, and has been, a great blessing to our worship of the Lord. We did not realize it had been eighteen months since she came back into our fellowship to serve as interim pianist. Our hope is that once Kathy has time to do some necessary healing and feels healthier, she may be able to come back into the music ministry of our church.
In the midst of this, we see Kathy Clark as more than just our pianist. She is a part of our church family, and as such we want to continue to minister to her and her family, praying for God’s healing and strength. Join with us in encouraging Kathy.
The personnel committee has received this resignation and is already praying and searching for a pianist. The committee has asked Laurie Rearden to fill in for a couple of months, as they work through the search process. Pray for the personnel committee, because this is not an easy position to fill.
Join us on Sunday, February 3rd, as we recognize and thank Kathy for her ministry with us.
